So coach Buncik posted a Star-Telegram article on his Facebook and it immediately caught my eye because of one major thing. For most of you on this forum, it will be two major things. I don't mind the orange within our color scheme, it's never bothered me that the UT system requires every school to incorporate some fashion of orange.

What I cannot stand is the coloring inside the 3-point line/outside the key. I was glad that UTA went with something simplistic for the CPC flooring and did not copy the Texas Hall look (blue inside the 3-point line). This was a mid-90s trend that died in the early aughts, and for recruiting purposes, schools are doing much more drastic looks (i.e. UCF, Oregon, etc.)

My questions is just...why?! There was no need for this. How does anyone think the orange here with the color of our hardwood?

New UTA court design.

Re: :sigh: Why?

False alarm...that's the wheelchair team's court. Still not a great look, but puts my mind at ease quite a bit.
