I guess this is filling one of the center/forward scholarships (Pallas or Brandon Williams?). A skilled and athletic 6'8/6'9 player with international experience. Guessing he's about 215-225? Similar size to Jorge Bilbao was when he started playing for us? Highlight reel showed some range from 3 and maybe even a bit of post-up game. At one point he also throws a laserbeam pass that might have broken the sound barrier from the top of the arc into the low post. Guard DJ Bryant has one of the other scholarships which is 2 taken now...so is there one more scholarship left? Is there a final signing date in June or can they sign players all the way through the summer?

The deadline is in August

We are after Giovanni Fraser, 6'8" forward. I was worried size was going to be a problem, but if we sign Fraser we should look really good.

D1 Mens Basketball gets 13 Scholarships; we only have 12 given out after signing Kiris.

Would like to see another big; Fraser is the only one I am aware of that is on the radar ... but we could see a JuCo or grad transfer pop up rather quickly as well ... I would love for us to make a run at this guy http://www.startribune.com/charles-buggs-to-transfer-from-gophers-source-says/381420941/

Local kid; wont have to sit out ... might just want more playing time and a chance at his grad degree?

Didnt get Buggs, but we did sign a big kid from TCU; Link Kabadyundi .. 7'1 240lbs .... he is a true center ... Coach Cross seems awfully excited about getting him ... so in the last couple of weeks we got a LOT bigger ...

I think he will be an Anthony Walker type of player. Athletic, can score some, commit a lot of fouls like many 5s sorta naturally do, rebound like Brandon Edwards or Hervey. He didnt score much at TCU but got more playing time at Blinn and was pretty efficient when he was on the floor which will pay huge dividends for us.

I think our leader SC is going to have a lot of depth this season and will be able to mix and match depending on game. We may have 20 different starting lineups, and 11 players averaging 14 or 18 minutes a game. Add another 10-20 lbs and you are talking nba size athlete. Look him up on google and he was mentioned frequently in st. Louis and other missouri sports columns as a fairly important missouri recruit. Apparently they are going to be small this year and were hoping to have him sign with them.

A good 15 min avg from him with 8-10 rebounds and 6-12 pts would be a good expectation I think. Like Walker, he is going to change a lot of shooters' minds about takin it to the cup and turn layups into contested or at least off balance 8ft jumpers.
